Harrisburg University Esports Invitational

Last year, we set the bar for what a collegiate esports tournament could be. This year, we’re raising it. 64 teams from across the country will travel to Harrisburg for four days of furious competition. The finalists will battle it out in our one-of-a-kind arena and their chance to take home the coveted HUE Invitational trophy.

The safety of all visitors, students and staff is paramount to Harrisburg University. Planning for the upcoming HUE Festival, a combination of live music and a national collegiate Esports tournament, has always included private security, law enforcement, and other personnel, each of whom will be on-site at all times.

As a rule, we do not publicly announce or discuss the details of our security program in order to maintain its effectiveness, however, we are working closely with the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, private security, the Harrisburg City Police Department, Dauphin County and Pennsylvania State and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop our comprehensive security protocols for HUE Fest. We have in place extensive proactive measures; some that will be visible during the HUE Fest events and many that will not. We are always working to improve our security plans and, if need be, adjust them, to ensure that we are doing all that we can to make HUE Fest, a safe and secure environment for all.
